Super Netball Round Five wrap up

Everything about Super Netball round five is overshadowed by some controversial umpiring in its final match, which saw GIANT Kristiana Manu’a ejected against the Lightning.

While both the Vixens and Swifts got themselves back on the winners list, and the Thunderbirds started to really flex their muscles, it was the Lightning’s one goal victory over the GIANTS that has everyone talking. Erin Delahunty has suggested in her piece with The Guardian that it’s in the response of the industry that will be very telling, while Liz Ellis has condemned the umpiring decision in the Sydney Morning Herald.
