Our partnership with the national broadcaster helps us to build on our work championing women in sports media and add more to the ABC’s already great women’s sports coverage. The ABC are as committed as we are to create pathways in sports media and we are excited to continue this work, together.

In April 2020, Swinburne University of Technology’s Sport Innovation Research Group partnered with Siren: A Women in Sport Collective to track the coverage of women in sport by mainstream media when sports shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
