We are a collective of Australian women’s sports advocates, content creators and fans.
We’ve been wanting more from mainstream coverage of women in sport for years. And years.
Realising we could achieve more together than apart, we combined our skills, experience and knowledge to form Siren: A Women in Sport Collective.
Our mission is to elevate women’s voices, alongside other diverse and marginalised voices to deliver feminist content that challenges the status quo of sport media.
We are also determined to abolish the culture of free labour around women’s sport.
There are so many passionate people working hard, mostly for free, because they believe women’s sports deserve better. It does. And we believe they deserve better too.
