The Women Sports Film Festival is 100% online in 2020, which means sport fans from right across the world can ‘attend’ and enjoy the selection.

It’s fitting that after the release of ‘Freeman’ on ABC TV last Sunday night, we will also see the fifth annual Women Sports Film Festival (WSFF) kick-off in San Francisco this week.
Like most events in 2020, this year’s festival will be entirely online, and all but two of the 16 films are viewable worldwide—which is great news for women’s sport fans here in Australia.
Beginning on September 16 (US time) the festival will showcase both feature-length and short women’s sports documentaries from around the world, plus a selection of live Q&As with filmmakers and film participants throughout the 10 days of the festival.

The WSFF is on a mission to “…reimagine sports with women and girls at the centre of the story” and we can’t wait for it.
